An opportunity has arisen for an outstanding individual to work in the GCT Credit Trading business. The role is for a Trading Vice President to work with key clients on existing and new transactions. The role requires development of new products, building out of origination and distribution channels with sales and product risk management.

Your key responsibilities:
Trading, origination and risk management of risk generated by the Australian Structured Credit franchise.
Risk management and optimisation of existing transactions.
Originating and risk management of new transactions.
Building out the origination and distribution channels for the Structured Credit franchise via trading strategies.
Your skills and experience:
The position will suit a Trader with a proven track record, who is self-motivated, has a disciplined and patient approach to their work and partnerships, and has a passion to innovate and develop new opportunities in a challenging and ever changing environment. Ideally, the candidate should have:
> 5 years' experience in trading.
Deep market knowledge of the Australian market.
Strong fundamental and technical knowledge of the Australia cash and CDS market names.
Highly Quantitative with broad and detailed product knowledge.
Demonstrated understanding of domestic and offshore Clients dealing in ANZ product.
Demonstrated understanding of the sales/trader model and ability to build good internal sales and external client relationships with AUD name market participants.
Proven ability to understand sources and create liquidity pools to enhance risk management.
Motivated, innovative, detail oriented, with a focus on efficiency.
