This is a unique opportunity for a recent graduate in Chemistry or Engineering to kickstart their career as a Field Service Technician - with full training provided You'll gain hands-on experience with advanced instrumentation, travel nationally, and be part of a dynamic, highly-skilled team at the forefront of scientific innovation and customer satisfaction.
Duties:
* Install, commission, calibrate, and maintain analytical instruments at customer sites
* Deliver on-site and remote troubleshooting and technical support to customers
* Operate instruments with precision to ensure accuracy and compliance
* Train customers on equipment use, maintenance, and best practices
* Diagnose faults and perform timely repairs on instrumentation
* Validate system performance through parameter testing
* Manage service-related inventory and documentation
* Build strong, professional relationships with customers
Please Note: This role involves frequent travel across Australia & New Zealand. A company vehicle will be provided to support your work in the field.
Skills & Experience:
* Tertiary qualifications in Science or Engineering
* Hands-on experience with analytical instrumentation
* Industry exposure in petrochemical, refining, or industrial lab environments (highly regarded)
* Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
* Solid computer literacy and technical aptitude
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
