SWIMMING POOL DUTY MANAGER (PERMANENT - SEASONAL)
The Swimming Pool Duty Manager supports the Pool Manager in the smooth, safe, and efficient operation of the York Swimming Pool during the open season. This hands-on role combines technical operations, water quality management, patron supervision, and customer service to ensure a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable experience for the community. As an active member of the Corporate & Community Services team, the position contributes to high standards of service delivery, fosters a positive and cooperative workplace, and upholds the Shire's values, policies, and commitment to health, safety, and inclusion.
Key Responsibilities:
* Liaise with the Shire Maintenance team and other maintenance contractors and subcontractors as required in the overall supervision of the plant as required by the Pool Manager.
* Provide effective supervision of all pool patrons and staff to ensure that appropriate Shire local laws, policies and management objectives are maintained.
* Assist with the ongoing development and implementation of improved administrative and work procedures
* Monitor plant and equipment daily.
* Oversee regular prescribed water quality, chemical balancing testing and recording of results as prescribed by WA Health Department.
Remuneration:
The salary for the position is offered in accordance with Level 4 of the Shire of York Inside Staff Enterprise Agreement 2019 ($77,905.11 – $81, Placement within the range will be determined by the applicant's skills and experience.
