**About this role**:
Top tier, award-winning design studio in the heart of Brisbane is looking for an experienced Project Leader & Technical Architect. The role is best suited to someone with exceptional delivery and leadership skills on large, complex projects. This is a client-focused role where you will be responsible for project delivery and coordination in collaboration with the studio Principals. Strong leadership skills are essential for this position, both of stakeholders and internal teams. Experience in the health sector or large complex projects will be highly regarded.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Produce, oversee and drive the delivery of architectural documentation packages through design development, tender and construction phases autonomously and within teams
- Engage with the contractor as the Project Lead
- Program the scope of services and provide regular advice on project performance
- Be able to advise on constructability issues with the client representatives
- Effectively manage and coordinate an internal team as well as external groups
- Liaise with clients at meetings and presentations as the studio representative
- Mentor and develop a team, actively engaged in their career progression
- Collaborate with the broader project team, as well as the leadership group to develop projects
**Skills & Experience**
- Degree qualification in Architecture
- Proven experience in leading teams delivering complex, large scale projects, in whole or in part, or making a significant contribution from Design Development phase to completion on site
- Experience with driving the coordination of design with consultants, and a practical, collaborative approach and strong technical skills
- Understanding of the built environment and Australian codes and standards
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, particularly written and verbal
- Strong leadership, management, and mentoring skills - a desire to mentor team members, offer guidance and leadership, and encourage professional growth
- Proven ability to be a dynamic problem solver while maintaining core design intent philosophies through all project phases
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with the Project Director and Principals
- Good working knowledge of Revit is essential
- Proficiency in dRofus would be highly regarded, but is not essential
