Job Title: Night Shift Assistant Production Manager

Purpose of the role: Supervise Site Operations and the manufacture and packaging of therapeutic and personal care products in compliance with the Australian Code of Good Manufacturing Practice in a TGA licensed facility.
Responsibilities
* Ensure compliance with the Code of GMP for all production, procedures, and personnel from receipt of job sheets through to dispatch of products to the customer.
* Ensure cleaning and sanitation procedures for equipment and facility are followed.
* Ensure production of products follows the master schedule to meet customer orders in time, quantity, quality and delivery specifications.
* Maximise labour productivity by providing direct guidance to line workers.
* Minimise wastage, rejects and rework.
* Manage cross‐department stakeholders for communication of issues, troubleshooting and resource management.
* Ensure all PM tasks allocated are completed and returned by the due date.
* Ensure company and statutory obligations are met regarding occupational health, safety, fire, explosion and dangerous goods; observe EPA limits for discharge to air, soil and water, and trade waste limits for discharge to sewer.
* Maintain liaison with Engineering and other Production personnel for equipment repairs and maintenance to ensure maximum productivity.
* Coordinate with QC department around raw material and batch release to support the Production Plan.
* Ensure all personnel working in the GMP facility have sufficient training and skills for their tasks.
* This role reports to the Production Manager (Head of Production) and liaises with Planning, QA Manager, Microbiologist, Engineering Manager and HR Manager; maintains regular contact with other departments as required.
Qualifications
* Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
* Ability to work straight night shift (10 pm to 6 am, Monday to Friday).
* Advanced understanding and experience with GMP.
* Previous site ownership experience across the shift.
* Strong people leadership and technical production experience.
Citizenship Requirement: Applicants must have PR or AU/NZ citizenship. A work visa is not sufficient for this permanent position.
