The opportunity
Our growing Sunshine Coast branch is looking for an additional full-time store person to join our existing hard working, dedicated team. Your duties will have considerable variety. The role is predominantly attending to counter sales, order picking and packing and computer processing of orders and invoices. However, you will also be required to attend to customer deliveries one or two days a week.
This job will offer your opportunity to gain product knowledge, product application, and telephone, computer and sales skills.

What we require
* A trustworthy, reliable, responsible person with a strong work ethic
* You will need to be physically fit as you will be lifting up to 20kg packages
* You will need to be well presented, with a professional attitude – you will be dealing with customers
* An ability to work both independently and within a small team
* Sound computer skills and professional phone manner
Must have
* A desire to learn a new role, and to grow into a more senior role in our organisation.
* A stable work history.
* Current Australian driver's license
* Strong focus on customer service
* Strong communication skills
Fastener experience servicing the construction industry would be a serious advantage, however, this is a TRAINING role. We are happy to teach the right applicant about our business, and about our products, and to offer advancement to the right person. Our aim is to train someone to take over managing our warehouse to replace our existing manager when he is ready to retire in about 18 - 24 months time.
Main Duties
* Attending to counter sales
* Attending to phone and email customer enquiries
* Computer processing of stock in, orders and invoices
* General warehouse duties
* Picking and packing stock
* Checking packed orders for accuracy
* Loading and sealing pallets
Other Duties May Include
* Customer deliveries to businesses and construction sites
* Delivery of internal stock transfers to business's other sites in Brisbane
* Loading product into company vehicles
* Maintaining clean fleet vehicles
