Fortescue's Solomon mine is located on the traditional lands of the Eastern Guruma and Yindjibarndi peoples.

We are excited to offer an entry-level position within Fortescue's mobile maintenance division, focusing on Autonomous Mining Systems. This role comes with comprehensive training and involves daily maintenance tasks for our interconnected mobile assets, including our autonomous haulage and drilling fleets.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Perform maintenance on a wide range of autonomous mining equipment.
* Conduct diagnostics and fault finding.
* Fulfill workshop and in-pit duties as needed.
* Collaborate with all mobile maintenance teams to ensure 100% adherence to the schedule.
Qualifications And Experience
* Australian recognised trade certificate in Mechanical, Auto Electrical, Electronics, Communications, HV or LV certification or suitable RPL.
* Prior experience in mining or heavy industry is beneficial.
* Experience in maintaining an autonomous fleet is desirable.
* A strong commitment to safety principles.
