We are seeking contact centre agents (internally known as 'Supporter Relationship Specialists') to join our high-performing team.

About the role

Every position at Compassion is in service of our Mission to 'Release Children from Poverty, in Jesus Name' and every employee is expected to live and model the Values.

The position of Supporter Relationship Specialist is responsible for exceptional service for Compassion Australia Supporters, acting as the primary point of contact for all supporter needs.

The position reports to the Supporter Engagement Centre Team Lead.

The successful applicant's core responsibilities will be:

* Engage with both new and existing donors through inbound and outbound phone, email, and social media to drive sponsorships, donations, and other forms of engagement;
* Provide tailored, high-quality service that reflects the values and mission of Compassion;
* Ensure data integrity by collecting and managing supporter information with accuracy;
* Inspire supporters to deepen their connection to Compassion's mission of releasing children from poverty in Jesus' name;
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the seamless delivery of supporter services.

About you

The successful applicant will possess the following:

Essential

* Proven Experience in customer service, donor relations, or supporter engagement;
* Excellent organisational and time-management abilities;
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build meaningful connections;
* Adaptability to work across multiple communication channels and manage a variety of supporter inquiries;
* A solutions-focused mindset, always striving for excellence;
* Alignment with Compassion's Christian values and mission.

Desirable

* Experience with telephony platforms (Genesys)
