Blackstone Traffic is seeking reliable and safety-minded Traffic Controllers in the Goldfields region. Traffic control measures to ensure the safety of road users, pedestrians, and onsite crews.

Key responsibilities will include:
* Carry out traffic management duties in line with company procedures and industry standards, including MRWA CoP, AGTTMs, and the Road Traffic Code 2000.
* Load and unload traffic signs and equipment as required.
* Set up, implement, and monitor Traffic Management Plans and Traffic Guidance Schemes to meet all safety and quality requirements. Use Stop/Slow signs or bats to control traffic when required.
* Follow directions from Scheduling, Operations, Team Leaders, Foremen, Inspectors, and Auditors.
* Monitor traffic behavior and control traffic flow, as well as flow of pedestrians and cyclists, to ensure the safety of maintenance workers, on-site work crews and members of the public always.
* Complete vehicle pre-start checks, daily diaries, and all required job site paperwork, including safety inductions.
* Complete site hazard assessments and check for suitability of control measures for the job site.
* Promptly report any on-site hazards and/or near misses.
* Communicate and coordinate with the team using a two-way radio.
* Operate a Visual Message Board or Truck Mounted Attenuation when needed (with valid and current tickets/licenses).
Requirements
Required Skills & Qualities:
* BWTM & TC (minimum required).
* White Card.
* Driver's License; a WA license is preferred, however an Australian license or an international license from a DoT-recognised country will also be accepted.
* AWTM and/or WTM and/or OTMA Accreditation will be highly regarded.
* A strong commitment to safety, with good attention to detail and spatial awareness.
* Additional industry-related training or inductions (e.g., WaterCorp, Western Power) will be highly regarded.
* For those without experience, a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
* Experience in regional or remote work environments—such as FIFO, DIDO, or set-period placements—will also be highly regarded.
