About Your New Role
As an Electrical Drafter, you will support the delivery of high-quality electrical engineering works across power generation projects. Working closely with Electrical Engineers and Project Managers, you will play a key role in producing accurate drawings and documentation to support approvals and construction.
This role is well suited to:An experienced Electrical Drafter with power or utilities experience, orA qualified Electrician looking to transition into a stable, office-based drafting and design role
Key responsibilities include:
Preparing and updating electrical drawings for HV and LV power projectsDrafting layouts, single line diagrams, schematics, and construction drawingsIncorporating engineering mark-ups and responding to design revisionsEnsuring drawings align with NSW DNSP standards and project requirementsAssisting with design documentation submissions and approvalsCollaborating with engineers and project teams to meet delivery timeframes
About You
You are detail-oriented, technically minded, and enjoy contributing to well-structured project delivery. You take pride in producing accurate work and enjoy working as part of a collaborative design team.Experience as an Electrical Drafter within power, utilities, or infrastructure ORA background as a qualified Electrician with strong electrical knowledge and a desire to move into drafting and designProficiency in AutoCAD (power network experience highly regarded)A solid understanding of electrical drawings, symbols, and construction methodsStrong attention to detail and document control skillsA proactive attitude and willingness to learn and develop technically
