Drug and Alcohol Clinical Nurse Consultant Role
This challenging opportunity is available to provide comprehensive assessments and integrated discharge planning for patients with complex needs.
* Conduct thorough drug and alcohol assessments in collaboration with mental health clinicians.
* Develop and implement integrated discharge plans for complex patients and carers with a dual diagnosis.
* Work closely with mental health clinicians, peer workers, and community stakeholders to ensure coordinated care and support are in place before discharge.
Requirements
* Hold current AHPRA Registration.
* Possess at least 5 years full-time post-registration experience and approved post-registration nursing qualifications relevant to drug and alcohol treatment or other qualifications deemed appropriate by the public hospital or public health organisation.
* Valid NSW Drivers Licence.
