We've recently moved into a state-of-the-art facility in Lonsdale, and as we grow, we're investing in our people, processes, and plant — and we want you on the journey.About the RoleReporting to the Maintenance & Facilities Manager, you'll coordinate day-to-day maintenance across our facility, keep things running smoothly, and ensure safety standards are always met.
From small odd jobs to managing contractors and supporting preventative maintenance programs, your role is vital to our operations.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out and coordinate general maintenance and repairs around siteSupervise and support third-party contractors, ensuring safety and complianceMaintain records and requests in our maintenance management system (CMMS)Monitor spare parts inventory and ensure stock availabilitySupport the implementation of preventative maintenance schedules and improvementsAbout YouYou're organised, detail-oriented, and thrive in a hands-on environment.
You enjoy variety in your day, can juggle competing priorities, and know when to call in the specialists.What you bring:Unrestricted Electrical LicenseStrong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experienceExperience in maintenance, facility management, or similar rolesProficiency with hand tools and general repairsForklift/EWP license or willingness to obtainAbility to lead, delegate, and hold others accountableSafety-first mindset with knowledge of risk assessments and complianceBonus if you have:Additional trade background or experience in Fitter & Machinist, tooling or fabricationCMMS experienceLEAN manufacturing trainingWhy EC Carpets?
