**Your day to day**
Cleanliness is top of mind for our guests in the current climate and our Housekeeping colleagues play a vital role in providing the peace of mind our guests can expect with the IHG Way of Clean promise. You will ensure guests rooms and public areas are consistently clean and well-presented creating a fresh, clean and welcoming environment for our guests.
Our housekeeping team are multiskilled and work in all areas of the housekeeping department including, guest rooms, public areas and laundry.
We'll need a little flexibility with your time so we can serve our guests the best we can and assist with Hotel operations.
**What we need from you**
We're looking for an energetic individual who loves working collaboratively within a team focused environment.
Ideally, you will have:
- Previous housekeeping experience within a Hotel environment
- Ability to assist in all aspects of the housekeeping department including rooms, public areas and laundry.
- Strong attention to detail
- Time management skills
- Strong team player who enjoys working individually and as part of a team
- Ability to communicate effectively within your department and with the Front office and Maintenance teams to ensure seamless guest experience
- Have ability to work 'shift work' flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and public holidays across a seven day roster as required to support the Hotel operations.
- Have legal right to work in Australia without limitation or restriction.
