About The Role
An exciting opportunity has become available to join our friendly, fast paced and dynamic payroll team.
The primary objectives of the position are to ensure accurate fortnightly payroll processing for all Council staff, respond to a variety of queries in a timely manner, and provide a range of Payroll and Organisational Development related support and advice to employees & managers.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the following:
* Chris21 experience required
* Local Government experience will be highly regarded
* Relevant qualifications and/or demonstrated experience
* High level of attention to detail
* Demonstrated commitment to excellent customer service
* Sound numerical reasoning skills
* Well-developed analytical & interpersonal skills
The successful candidate will have excellent time-management skills, be committed to continuously improving internal processes and can prioritise in accordance with the ever-changing demands of the role.
The successful candidate will be asked to produce a clear Working with Children Check and will be asked to consent to a national police check (and where relevant an 'international criminal history check'), subject to the operation of spent conviction laws.
