Teaching Music is an Exciting Opportunity
The role involves delivering high-quality music instruction to students, guiding them in their musical development, and helping them achieve success in music examinations and performances. This includes planning and programming tuition, assessment, and reporting. Additionally, the successful applicant will participate in College events such as concerts, recitals, music camps, liturgical services, assemblies and productions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in music, possessing formal qualifications and experience in developing young musicians. They should be able to manage student behaviour and inspire young people to find their passion in music, while motivating students at different levels of ability.

The successful applicant will be required to undergo a National Criminal History Check from the Department of Education and maintain a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) during their employment as well as proof of Covid-19 Vaccination Double Dose or Booster.
Key Requirements: Formal music qualifications, track record of developing high performing young musicians/bands, skills to manage student behaviour and ability to inspire/motivate students. Ability to work outside regular school hours for performances when required.
