Seeking a highly skilled and experienced mental health clinician to join our team as a Senior Mental Health Clinician. As a key member of the Homeless Outreach Psychiatric Service (HOPS), you will provide specialist psychiatric clinical services and intensive support for adult clients experiencing mental illness and homelessness.
About Our Team
The HOPS service delivery model includes extensive triage, assessment, referral, and secondary consultation services to various homeless agencies within the inner south catchment area. Your role will involve providing case management to an agreed caseload, direct clinical care when required, and supporting RPN3 nursing staff within the team.
Your Responsibilities
* Demonstrate advanced clinical knowledge and contemporary psychiatric nursing practice in patient assessment, planning, and treatment.
* Provide case management to an agreed caseload, including direct clinical care when required.
* Support and supervise RPN3 nursing staff within the team as needed.
About You
We are seeking a candidate with:
* Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia via AHPRA.
* At least 4 years of community mental health experience, particularly with clients having multiple or complex needs.
* Ability to demonstrate competence in psychiatric triage, assessment, and treatment, including a broad range of psychiatric and psychosocial interventions.
