* Base salary from $118,530 per annum + 17% Superannuation

About the position

Reporting to the Director, Research Education and Development, this role is responsible for delivering high-quality, effective research education and development initiatives for graduate research candidates, supervisors, and researchers across the university. The position involves planning, coordinating, and implementing strategic, university-wide programs that enhance the experience and career outcomes of graduate researchers and staff, promote wellbeing, and foster a dynamic, contemporary research culture at La Trobe. This includes supporting a strong culture of excellence in graduate research supervision.

A key focus of the role is the delivery of inclusive programs that meet the needs of stakeholders from diverse backgrounds and across varied research environments, including initiatives that strengthen the experience and success of candidates, supervisors, and researchers involved in global research and industry partnerships.

Skills and Experience

To be considered for this position, you will have;

* PhD or equivalent accreditation and standing recognised by the University/profession as appropriate.
* Demonstrated competence in teaching and curriculum development within one or more discipline contexts.
* Evidence of high quality and/or high impact research conducted and published or otherwise disseminated, relative to opportunity.
* Demonstrated ability to provide support for graduate research candidates.
* High level verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with people from a diverse range of backgrounds.
