About the Role
GRIT is seeking a full-time AO3 Communication Officer on a temporary contract to support a government infrastructure team in Townsville.
This role provides communications and stakeholder engagement support across planning, pre-construction, and construction projects, ensuring smooth project operations and efficient team workflow.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare project communications including correspondence, flyers, social media, and web updates.
Support stakeholder engagement for low-risk projects and respond to enquiries.
Maintain records, trackers, and project information to assist project teams.
Develop and update project and internal webpages.
Assist in meetings with stakeholders and program engagement offices.
Skills & Experience
Experience in communications, stakeholder engagement, or related roles.
Strong written communication skills for correspondence, reports, and social media.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain records, and support project teams.
Comfortable working in a government or regulated environment.
