Your new role: As a Registered Nurse within Metro South Addiction and Mental Health Services, you will deliver safe, compassionate, and person-centred clinical care in a collaborative healthcare team environment. You will play a key role in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for patients experiencing mental health and addiction challenges. * Engage with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic care addressing psychological, social, emotional, spiritual, and physical needs. * Provide high-quality nursing care aligned with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia standards and organisational frameworks such as Magnet® and Pathway to Excellence®. * Work autonomously and collaboratively, demonstrating increasing professional judgement and accountability in clinical decision-making. About you: We are looking for a compassionate, skilled, and motivated Registered Nurse who thrives in a dynamic mental health setting. * Registered Nurse with current Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) registration and a Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification. * Demonstrated experience or a strong willingness to develop skills in mental health and addiction nursing, including conducting comprehensive mental health and risk assessments. * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and engage with patients and their families. * Commitment to quality improvement, evidence-based practice, and contributing positively to a supportive workplace culture.
