Role Overview
We're looking for a Lead Drupal Engineer with a deep understanding of Drupal & PHP, and proven experience in creating complex solutions. As a key member of the team, you will lead the design and development of sophisticated Drupal‐based platforms, ensuring they meet both business needs and technical standards. You will work closely with cross‐functional teams, including developers, designers, and product managers, to deliver innovative solutions that exceed expectations. As part of ongoing growth you will also be involved in the growth or AI projects, driven from the top down. A great time to get in and have an impact from the get go.
Key Responsibilities
* Technical Leadership: Design and implement scalable, high‐performance Drupal solutions that align with business goals and technical requirements.
* Project Oversight: Oversee the development process, ensuring best practices are followed, code quality is maintained, and projects are delivered on time.
* Technical Guidance: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, including code reviews and performance optimisation.
* Client Engagement: Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into effective Drupal solutions.
* Innovation: Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and Drupal advancements to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
* Documentation: Develop comprehensive documentation for system architecture, configurations, and integrations.
Requirements
* Experience: Proven experience as a Drupal Lead, Architect or Senior developer with a strong portfolio of successful Drupal projects.
* Technical Skills: Deep expertise in Drupal 8/9/10, including custom module development, theming, and configuration.
* Architectural Expertise: Strong knowledge of software architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices for building scalable web applications.
* Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams, manage projects, and communicate effectively with both technical and non‐technical stakeholders.
* Problem‐Solving: Exceptional analytical and problem‐solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
