Join our Downer Professional Services team and play a key role in delivering complex defence and national security projects that safeguard Australia’s future.What You’ll DoThis role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:Drafting liability risk assessments and identifying commercial risks and treatment methodologies;Developing procurement artefacts such as the approach to market/procurement strategy (ETP), evaluation plan & report, and managing the procurement schedule with the Head/Lead Scheduler;Drafting contractual artefacts for complex sustainment activities, including Conditions of Tender (CoT), Conditions of Contract (CoC), and tailoring contracts to suit the Statement of Work (SOW) and procurement requirements based on ASDEFCON documentation;Providing accurate and timely commercial advice and guidance to delegates and stakeholders;Supporting tender clarifications, especially concerning contractual, commercial, and financial elements.What You’ll BringExtensive knowledge of Commonwealth procurement regulations and policies such as the PGPA Act, procurement connected policies, and Commonwealth Procurement Rules;Experience with ASDEFCON contracting templates or equivalent complex contracting documentation;Formal contracting qualifications, e.g., Certificate IV in Contracting and Procurement or higher;Strong understanding of probity and evaluation in a commercial environment;Experience in procurement/contract management in Government (Commonwealth or State/Territory);Must hold and maintain a minimum Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) security clearance.More than anything, you’ll bring a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes for our clients.Why Downer Professional ServicesAt Downer Professional Services, we’re dedicated to shaping the future of defence in Australia.
