A well known and highly reputable property-based business in Melbourne is looking for a skilled FC to join their team, they are a diverse organisation that generates revenue from a range of different streams.
The Role
You will be part of a team of high-performing professionals.
You will manage a small team, report through to the CFO.
There is significant scope for personal and professional development for the right candidate.
Diverse in nature, the role will cover a range of duties.
The position is available on a permanent full-time basis.
Responsibilities
Manage the finance function and provide financial leadership for the group
Maintaining the integrity and quality of financial information and optimising business performance
Manage, mentor and develop an engaged and high-performing team
Ownership for the property accounting function
Oversee core accounting functions including AP, AR, management reporting and compliance
Take a lead role in ERP systems and processes
Prepare annual financial accounts
Cash flow and capital management
Assist with the external audit process and income tax preparation
Assist with the group budgeting and forecasting
Ad-hoc analysis, project work and reporting tasks for the group as required
Ideal Candidate
CA or CPA qualifications
Strong technical accounting experience
Experience in a relevant industry is preferable but not essential e.g. property
Big 4 or mid-tier chartered accounting experience
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Yardi ERP experience advantageous
Staff management experience
