About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Legal Assistant to join our well-regarded Dispute Resolution and Litigation team. Working alongside Partners Mark Henry and Angela Barac and the wider team, this role will provide support to lawyers working on matters across state and commonwealth government in areas of administrative law, Royal Commissions, dispute resolution, procurement and tendering, governance and statutory interpretation.

Responsibilities

* Coordination of meetings and internal/external functions
* Opening and closing of matters including e‐filing and physical archiving via Aderant Expert (billing) and iManage (document management) systems
* Time entry and preparation of monthly high-volume billing
* Creating, drafting, editing, and formatting a range of legal correspondence and documents
* Reconciling expenses for authors on a monthly basis
* All other general ad hoc administrative duties

About you

* At least 2 years' experience as a Legal Assistant within a high‐volume practice
* Sound technical skills, familiarity with iManage or Aderant (Expert) is highly regarded
* The ability to produce accurate, high‐quality work within set timeframes
* A strong attention to detail
* A personable, collaborative, and friendly disposition
