Overview We are seeking an experienced Accommodation Manager / Hotel Manager for our client, a well-established hospitality business based in Roma, Queensland.
This full-time position offers a rewarding opportunity to oversee daily operations while delivering an exceptional guest experience in a regional hotel and accommodation setting.
Responsibilities Oversee operations including guest check-in/check-out, reservations, reception, and concierge services.Supervise housekeeping, room service, and general property cleanliness and presentation standards.Welcome guests and provide tourism, accommodation, and dining information specific to the Roma region.Act as the senior on-site manager during shifts, handling guest concerns, emergencies, and operational issues with professionalism.Assist the owners with the development of documented procedures and staff training.Oversee accounting, purchasing and cost monitoring.Coordinate and manage events, conferences, and restaurant functions for a range of clientele.Ensure the business complies with health, safety, fire, and liquor licensing regulations.Manage property security procedures and liaise with contractors for maintenance and facility upkeep as required.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience Hold a Diploma or higher qualification in Hotel Management or a closely related field.
(Applicants with at least 3 years of relevant full-time work experience will also be considered.)Have at least 1 year of full time experience in a similar hotel or accommodation management role.Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with a proactive approach to customer satisfaction.Reliable transport and commitment to maintaining high operational standards.This position is full-time and offers an annual salary of $75,000 - $90,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
