Job Title: Anatomical Pathology Specialist
About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced specialist in anatomical pathology to join our multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality diagnostic, consultative, procedural, and on-call services in anatomical pathology.
* Play a key role in teaching, research, and driving quality improvement activities.
* Maintain the highest standards of care for our community and foster an academic atmosphere that supports innovation and development.
Requirements:
* Current registration with AHPRA or eligibility for registration and fellowship of RCPA in anatomical pathology.
* Demonstrated commitment to basic, applied or clinical research and/or medical education and staff training.
* Proven ability to work as a team member with effective communication, interpersonal skills and adaptability to work within a multidisciplinary environment.
* Personal qualities including effective communication, motivation, initiative, time management and commitment to professional development.
* Commitment to clinical quality management, continuous improvement and contemporary knowledge of NPAAC standards and NATA accreditation processes.
* Contemporary clinical knowledge and technical expertise in anatomical pathology.
