Job Description
We are at the forefront of sustainable water infrastructure, delivering innovative solutions across Australia and globally. We are currently seeking expressions of interest from experienced Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Managers to play a pivotal role in supporting strategic tenders and transitioning into the delivery of large-scale water treatment projects.
This role is ideal for a senior professional who combines deep technical expertise with strategic insight, capable of shaping winning bids and leading operational excellence throughout project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the development of O&M strategies and technical content for major tenders in the South Australia region.
* Collaborate with bid teams to formulate client-focused solutions, integrating operational objectives into tender submissions.
* Conduct risk and opportunity assessments, contributing to pricing strategies and value engineering alternatives.
* Prepare and present O&M cost estimates and lifecycle performance models.
* Participate in client workshops and interactive sessions, translating operational insights into competitive advantages.
Transition to Project Delivery:
* Upon successful award, lead the transition from tender to delivery, ensuring continuity of O&M strategy and technical integrity.
* Oversee the development of project documentation, including Management Plans, Commissioning protocols, ITPs, performance testing, and O&M manuals.
* Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure process equipment selection, installation, and commissioning meet design and operational specifications.
* Manage vendor engagement, procurement activities, and technical clarifications with clients and partners.
* Resolve project issues through strategic analysis and cross-functional collaboration.
Digital Engineering & Operational Innovation:
* Promote the use of digital engineering tools to enhance planning, coordination, and operational efficiency.
* Support site personnel in applying DE technologies for asset management and performance monitoring.
* Analyse and improve DE tool usage for collaboration and information sharing across project phases.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Degree in Civil, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering discipline.
* Extensive experience in the process design and operational management of water treatment and desalination projects.
* Proven leadership in supporting tenders and transitioning into project delivery.
* Strong capabilities in supervising engineering development, including digital design environments.
* Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in technical report writing and stakeholder engagement.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in dynamic project environments.
* Willingness to travel interstate and internationally as required.
* Spanish language skills are advantageous.
