Job Title: Culinary Service Professional
We are seeking an experienced Culinary Service Professional to join our team. This is a permanent part-time position, offering regular hours in a supportive environment.
The successful candidate will work a minimum of 14 hours per week and have a mix of Weekday and Weekend shifts available.
The primary focus of this role is on providing high-quality food and beverages that meet residents' individual dietary needs.
Main Responsibilities:
* Prepare meals that meet the required nutritional and dietary standards.
* Collaborate with residents, dietitians, and supervisors to develop menus that cater to their needs.
* Monitor stock levels and report requirements to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
* Promote a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment by implementing and adhering to the Food Safety Program (FSP).
* Support the implementation of initiatives aimed at enhancing the overall dining experience for residents.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Trade Cook Certificate or equivalent qualification is mandatory. Previous experience in hospitality and aged care cooking is highly desirable, as is leadership experience within a kitchen or food services environment.
