About The Role
We’re on the lookout for a proactive and energetic Marketing Lead to develop and implement strategic campaigns that bring ABC content to life for audiences across Australia. With a strong focus on screen content including Entertainment, Drama, Indigenous, Comedy, Factual, Arts & Specialist, you’ll play a key role in shaping how our stories reach and resonate with audiences both new and established.
You Will
Shape bold, audience‑first marketing strategies that drive impact, transforming insights, analytics and real audience behaviour into powerful ideas that fuel smarter decisions, unlock new opportunities, and elevate campaign performance.Lead cross‑channel marketing campaigns across paid, owned and earned media, championing ABC’s priority content and brand initiatives. Craft clear, compelling briefs, guide smooth planning and delivery to ensure every campaign lands with purpose.Proactively identify opportunities for outsized audience impact, including highly memorable activations, earned media opportunities, talent-led opportunities, and cross-platform marketing ideas.Deliver innovative, stand-out creative campaigns driving audience growth and brand salience amongst audiences. Recognise, promote and inspire creative excellence across all marketing communications efforts.Cultivate and influence relationships with key stakeholders, internal and external, to ensure seamless and analyse campaign performance to inform ongoing strategy and provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve future campaigns and demonstrate marketing effectiveness.Identify opportunities to leverage personalised communications to connect audiences with relevant ABC content via CRM and 1:1 and earned media.

About You
You'll have:
Demonstrated highly advanced marketing skills, with the ability to identify key audience growth opportunities, develop strategy and translate it into measurable, actionable, and effective plans.Demonstrated extensive experience and knowledge of owned, earned and paid marketing, creative excellence and effectiveness, audience data and insights.Demonstrated extensive experience in brand development and strategy across all channelsDemonstrated passion for and understanding of marketing, with an innovative mindset and the capacity to use key insights to draw from previous experiences to problem solve and drive positive outcomes.Demonstrated experience in leading and collaborating with project teams.Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to develop partnerships and meaningful stakeholder relationships at all levels.Demonstrated strategic and creative thinking skills, with the ability to think laterally and exercise sound judgement in solving very complex problems.
