About your new role
As the Corporate Accounting Manager this role will see you partner with the Finance Director and be part of the SLT. This role is highly visible throughout the organisation and will be responsible for driving a large-scale transformation of the finance function to achieve key outcomes and greater commercial acumen throughout the business.
Some of the key tasks aligned to this role will include:
•Lead and develop the finance team to ensure all statutory reporting and compliance requirements are met.
•Identify top-line growth opportunities whilst implementing internal cost control initiatives.
•Lead group-wide transformation programs to implement 'best in class' business processes and systems.
•Audit existing technologies to identify more suitable platforms to best meet the demands of a growing business.
•Provide timely and accurate management reports for consolidated reporting to the Board
•Work with the senior executive team to develop and execute strategy.
About you?
Must have a proven track record of successfully operating at the Financial Controller or Corporate Accounting Manager level in another leading mult-national business. During this time, you have been responsible for the strategic growth of the business and driven transformation initiatives. Additionally, you will have a people-centric leadership style and the ability to embed finance throughout the organisation. Experience in M&A would also be an advantage.
FMCG experience is an advantage.
