Overview
This is an opportunity to contribute to a sustainable future in the mineral processing industry while working a balanced schedule. The role is based on the Victorian coast and is designed to provide full site-based HR experience.
Responsibilities
* Provide expert HR advice and coaching to line managers and site leadership on performance management, legislation, and employee relations.
* Implement and oversee HR policies, processes, and standards, recommending improvements for best practice.
* Lead and participate in key projects related to employee engagement, succession planning, and change management.
* Develop and deliver training to all organizational levels to improve employee relations and proactive people management.
* Maintain expert knowledge of current and proposed employment legislation.
Qualifications
* Tertiary qualifications in HR, Business, or a related field, or proven equivalent experience in a heavy industrial environment.
* Substantial HR generalist or Employee Relations experience, with knowledge of legislation, performance management, and HR systems.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport and sustain relationships at all levels.
* Background in heavy industry, resources, or manufacturing sectors.
