About The Role
As the National Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing key customer relationships within the durable consumer channel. Working across several retailers and several brands this truly is an opportunity to utilise your skills to help shape and develop financially targeted initiatives.
Responsibilities
* Build and nurture strong partnerships with national accounts to drive long-term success.
* Leverage industry insights and market trends to inform strategic decisions and enhance offerings.
* Provide dedicated support to key major account customers.
* Analyse sales and scan data to develop strategies for sustainable, profitable brand growth.
* Execute promotional programs and account plans aligned with trade spend budgets.
* Track account performance, delivering insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
* Collaborate with Marketing to launch NPD.
* Manage the Range Review process.
* Develop relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in account management within FMCG, hardware, or retail sectors, with a strong record of commercial success.
* Strategic and commercially savvy, with the ability to create and implement growth-focused business plans.
* Exceptional relationship management and stakeholder influencing skills, including leading Joint Business Planning (JBP).
* Strong analytical and forecasting abilities, with a data-driven mindset for opportunity identification and risk mitigation.
* Excellent communication skills
* Demonstrated analytical thinking (strong diagnostic / numeracy skills)
* High attention to detail
* Computer skills (Microsoft Office essential)
