About the Role
Learning Support Officers work with students with additional needs within our learning spaces, either on a one-to-one basis or in small group situations. These additional needs may be physical, intellectual and or social/emotional.
Some of the Key Responsibilities of this role will include:
* To provide a commitment to Catholic Education and to the safety, wellbeing and protection of children and young people;
* Demonstration of a genuine love for working with children & safety of children
* Inclusive learning practises for children with diverse learning needs
* Understanding the balance between using initiative, seeking direction and support from classroom teacher
