Purpose and Objectives
The Digital Supply Chain Practice of SAP Australia & New Zealand is expanding by establishing a Supply Chain Management (SCM) Centre of Excellence (CoE). The CoE’s purpose is to guide major customers through their journey to SAP Business Suite — with proven strategy, expert delivery, and scalable, lasting impact. The successful candidate will be working on both this high‑profile, strategic and transformational initiative and the broader Customer Success and Delivery area within the DSC Practice.
Location and Eligibility
Brisbane is the preferred location; Melbourne and Sydney applicants may also be considered. Candidates must have a valid work permit to be employed in Australia.
Expectations and Tasks
As an SCM – EAM/BNAC senior consultant, you will have an excellent understanding of SAP BNAC and the overall SAP Business Suite related to SAP EAM, including how they integrate and should be used in the asset‑intensive industry context. From an SCM CoE perspective you will help customers holistically understand their path from the “old” SCM world into the more advanced Business Suite world, including AI, mobility, automated scheduling and networks. You will work alongside account teams in the software evaluation process, develop SAP‑centric solution scenarios and needed architecture, prepare implementation plans and define outcomes that lead to overall customer success. You will build actionable roadmaps, support the creation of business cases, PoC, give architecture advice and deliver implementation support where needed. You will act as the conduit between customer and product management/engineering to prioritise product roadmaps with customer needs, run/support industry‑specific round tables and events for SCM and particularly Asset Management. Under the overall DSC Practice mandate you will advise on, design, implement, and deploy our solutions with the aim to enhance the client's business functionality and performance, while maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction. You will partner with the client and possible third parties to analyse and define business requirements, technology, processes, and objectives to scope project deliverables, always keeping the overall architecture in mind. You will also work individually and as part of a high‑performance team locally and globally, having SAP’s and customer's success at heart. Your vast experience and in‑depth industry knowledge will make you the go‑to person to provide thought‑leadership advice on solution design, implementation challenges or deployment options.
Qualifications, Skills and Competencies
* A proven 5+ years professional experience working as a senior SAP BNAC consultant.
* Has gained expert knowledge in SAP BNAC and ideally covering at least 4+ full implementation life cycles.
* Shows a proven project deliver experience with product and domain knowledge in SAP Intelligent Asset Management & Service portfolio, including SAP Business Network Asset Collaboration, SAP S/4HANA, SAP Service and Asset Manager, SAP Field Service Management, SAP Spatial Asset Management and SAP Asset Performance Management.
* Can conduct SAP BNAC and S/4HANA EAM centric workshops with all contributing parties, providing end‑to‑end Business Process Solution Design.
* Master data modelling for SAP Intelligent Asset Management solutions, including knowledge of integrated processes.
* Understanding of life cycle and integration of the OEM network and developing digital twins.
* Deep understanding asset maintenance collaboration between asset operators and external contractors and the unique work‑order integrations with other maintenance management systems.
* Technical application and BTP Cloud configuration knowledge.
* Has good understanding and hands‑on integration experience across other processes and solutions such as PM, PS, MM, FI/CO.
* Understands the business drivers, challenges and outcomes of asset management and plant maintenance solutions in the correlated aspects of the asset‑intense industries.
* Strong analytical skills, result‑oriented and effective in problem solving.
* Comfortable presenting complex information to customers in a clear, well documented and trustworthy manner.
* Team player and ability to work successfully in culturally diverse environments.
* Strong networking and customer relationship management capabilities.
* Excellent communication skills with technical and business focus.
* Passionate about technology, innovation, and how digital platforms can solve business challenges.
* Experience with ML, IoT, SAP Joule and other AI tools is a plus.
* Basic knowledge of programming is a plus.
* Practical experience with process modelling tools Signavio, LeanIX, WalkMe is a plus.
