The role plays a pivotal frontline carer role with a particular focus on nutrition and dining, supporting residents to live a life of fulfilment through the delivery of person‐centred care and support according to needs and preferences of each resident in everyday practice.

• Meal choices and individual nutrition
• Consideration of allergies and food intolerances
• Assist residents with meal selection and meal timing preferences
• Prepare and set up dining areas to meet individual needs and preferences
• Actively engage with residents to provide social and emotional support during mealtimes
• Promote resident choice and control to uphold dignity and respect
• Maintain accurate nutrition and diet information as required
• Assist with quality food preparation in accordance with the Food Safety Plan, Bolton Clarke Food Standards and Dining Framework
• Assist with maintaining kitchen stock supplies as required
• Assist in the preparation, delivery, presentation and serving of resident meals
• Enhancing the overall dining experience
• Use empathy and kindness to foster a positive dining experience
• Prepare and maintain dining experience areas and provide meal service to meet individual resident choices
• Demonstrated customer service skills
• Previous restaurant and/or commercial kitchen experience (highly regarded)
• Good time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure

• Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc.)
• Completed a police check and/or NDIS Workers Check (or willingness to obtain) prior to commencement
