We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Assembly Machine Operator to join our production team. This role is responsible for operating and monitoring assembly machines to produce quality products in a safe, efficient, and timely manner, while meeting production targets and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate and monitor assembly machines to produce quality components
* Perform basic quality checks and report faults or issues
* Meet safety, quality, and daily production targets consistently
Detailed Responsibilities
* Set up, operate, and monitor assembly machinery according to work instructions and specifications
* Load raw materials and components into machines and remove finished products
* Perform routine checks to ensure machines are running correctly and safely
* Conduct basic machine adjustments and minor troubleshooting
* Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
* Complete quality checks and record production data accurately
* Maintain a clean and organized work area in line with WHS standards
* Follow standard operating procedures, safety guidelines, and company policies
* Report faults, defects, or safety concerns to the supervisor
* Assist with general production and assembly tasks as required
Skills & Experience
* Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment (preferred)
* Experience operating assembly or production machinery (training can be provided)
* Basic mechanical aptitude and problem‐solving skills
* Ability to read and follow work instructions and diagrams
* Strong attention to detail and quality
* Basic computer or production system skills (desirable)
