The role
Crown is the ultimate destination for dining experiences, with a vast array of casual offerings to more premium settings. We have something to suit everyone’s tastes. We’re seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join the Resort Sales team on a permanent Full time basis.
As the Resort Sales Executive, you will be responsible for ensuring the Crown Perth Hotels and the Events and Conference departments exceed their financial, occupancy and business plan targets along with ensuring the sales team achieve their respective objectives and maximise opportunities for the whole of Crown.
The Sales Executive is required to manage the Resort Sales contracted accounts and new business opportunities as directed by Sales Managers and the Associate Director of Sales, ensuring there is a clear and solid business plan through the retention, development, and acquisition of accounts.
Your outstanding customer service skills and stakeholder engagement will allow you to source new business and maximise the potential of existing corporate accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide exceptional customer service and serve as the primary contact for key clients throughout the event sales and planning cycle
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients
* Proactively work towards achieving targets and maximising profitability by upselling Crown’s venues and product packages
* Manage all communications with clients, suppliers, and internal departments for each account/booking including site inspections, proposals, contracting, and facilitating handovers to operations teams
* Collaborating with internal teams for seamless event execution
About you
You’ll bring the following:
* Intermediate experience in a sales role
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport
* Demonstrated ability to manage priorities to deliver on business objectives
* Demonstrated outstanding customer service with both internal and external stakeholders
* Proficiency in Microsoft suite of products, Amadeus and Opera
* Broad industry experience in a superior Hotel or Food & Beverage environment (Preferred)
