Our supportive and encouraging client, is looking for a Leading Farm Hand to join the team on their family owned stock and cropping property in the Kundernin area. If you have a HC Truck licence, experience in machine operations for broadacre cropping with animal husbandry skills and a genuine passion for sheep work, then this is a great opportunity for you.

- 3000 hectare property ( 2000 ha cropping program and 600 ha of pasture) 
- Approximately 2500 mated breeding Ewes and Wether Lambs 
- Team of 6 with shared roles 
- Only 2 hours to Perth

**About the Role**: 
Cropping:
- Machine operations for broadacre cropping program 
- header 
- seeder 
- some spraying 
- transporting grain to town storage
Stock 
- Stock work (Sheep) 
- all animal husbandry duties (yard work, drenching, vaxxing, pasture rotation, feeding out, trough and dam checks) 
- Yard work required for the shearing and crutching season (Contractors are bought in for shearing/crutching and muelsing)
General 
- Assisting Owner/Manager with day to day duties as required 
- Carry out duties as set by the Owner/Manager in his absence 
- Machinery and plant maintenance
**About you**:
- Minimum 2 years experience operating broadacre cropping machinery 
- A minimum HC licence 
- Experience and the right temperament for handling and working sheep 
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills 
- Prefer non-smokers - must not smoke in the machinery or accommodation and adhere to a strict non smoking workplace policy

- Accommodation in Cunderdin: 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom air-conditioned home (rent free, but electricity is not provided) 
- Salary: $93,000 (negotiated and depending on experience) 
- 8.00am to 5.00pm / 5 days per week (additional hours during the busy seasons)
