As a senior leader in the procurement function, you will collaborate closely with project directors, consultants, project officers and key stakeholders to facilitate the coordination of FF&E design components. This includes liaising and negotiating with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders to ensure their specific requirements are met through the provision of suitable FF&E.
You will be responsible for ensuring that FF&E components are delivered on time, within budget and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders. To achieve this, you will provide expertise in the planning, delivery and commissioning phases of capital health projects, leading and supporting a team to deliver large health infrastructure FF&E on time and within budget.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to meet business needs and organisational objectives.
* Manage and coordinate the procurement process, including scoping projects and engaging with consultants/contractors and reviewing tenders within time and budget constraints.
* Identify and analyse complex procurement issues, developing quality options and strategies to resolve them.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and other industry partners to achieve required outcomes.
**What We Are Looking For:**
* A high level of knowledge and experience in implementing contemporary procurement strategies, particularly in relation to managing FF&E projects.
* Experience in project management, including the ability to scope projects and engage with consultants/contractors and review tenders within time and budget constraints.
* High-level conceptual and analytical skills to identify and analyse issues and develop quality options and strategies to resolve complex procurement issues.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, consultation, negotiation and oral and written communications skills, including the ability to lead and influence clients and senior management on complex procurement issues.
* A proven ability to lead, manage and develop staff in a team environment.
