We are looking for fashionable individuals who have drive, ambition, natural leadership and everything it takes to run a small business. *This unique Christmas Casual Retail / Internship role involves full training in the unique craft of leather monogramming and up-skilling in Shopify Analysis. We offer flexible part-time and casual hours, both at our Head Office and in Customer Service/Retail.

We believe personalisation and monogramming should be an inclusive experience enjoyed by everyone, doing everyday things. It shouldn't have a pretentious vibe or overpriced tag attached to it.

That is why Company Founder and Creative Director Denisa created Hugh and Hyde Personalised Leather Accessories in 2019. As a company, we dedicate our time and craftsmanship to be inclusive and help the everyday girl style-up their busy lives through their daily accessories.

**Your role with us.**

As our Christmas Casual, your role will include working at our Retail Store to:

- Connect customers to our Hugh and Hyde brand and brand values
- Selling a high quality product and knowing their features and benefits
- Achieving sales and creating a lasting impressions through premium customer service, visuals and brand inspiration
- Working proactively and passionately in a team to meet sales targets and KPI's
- Monogram (personalise) a range of leather accessories using our monogramming machines
- Merchandising products and maintaining an aesthetic environment
- Processing and replenishing stock according to company standard
- Bump In and Bump Out for our Pop Up Store or Market Stalls
- Handle and process card and cash sales using a simple Point of Sale (POS) System
- Record and communicate brief daily sales reports
- Receive product orders with attention to detail

As our Head Office Intern, your role may include (but is not limited to):

- owning your own creative journey by being proactive, passionate and offering innovative ways to grow the potential of our Hugh and Hyde brand.
- working flexible casual and/or part-time hours at Hugh and Hyde Head Office
- Carefully review orders on our Shopify Ecommerce platform.
- Prepare, package and dispatch online orders, with a meticulous consideration of quality control and attention to detail.
- Manage inventory and conduct regular stocktake tasks
- Provide, document and communicate reports across key metrics including total sales, conversion rate, top products sold, online store sessions and customer behaviours, average older values and returning customer rate.
- Plan and create unique social media content that is relevant and engaging, using platforms like Canva.

**It is recommended you have**:

- a strategic mindset that identifies opportunities for growth that aligns with Hugh and Hyde brand values. A genuine passion and dedication for growing a small business from top to bottom
- a love for fashion and personalised style
- an eye for mínimalist and aesthetic detail
- a positive and enthusiastic attitude to learn new skills and expand knowledge, especially when out of their comfort zone
- a drive for meeting deadlines and metrics
- experience with Shopify and Instagram (preferred, but not essential)
- confidence to show up and be transparent on our social media platforms
- strong skills in content creation using Instagram and Canva is highly preferred.
- a commitment to adult education AND/OR has retail experience (although not required)
