Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) Operator based in Western Australia. The HDD Operator will be responsible for the daily operation of drilling equipment, executing directional drilling as per project requirements, and maintaining drilling equipment in good working condition. Additional responsibilities include monitoring and troubleshooting equipment issues, adhering to safety guidelines, and ensuring project timelines are met while maintaining high quality standards.
Qualifications
* Experience operating HDD machinery and knowledge of horizontal directional drilling techniques Vermeer 40x55 DR
* Familiarity with equipment maintenance procedures and troubleshooting techniques
* Understanding of workplace safety regulations and best practices, with a focus on safety protocols in construction and drilling environments
* Undergo pre Employment Medical and LAB DAS
* Valid HC driver's license and the ability to meet physical demands of the role
* Previous experience in civil construction or drilling is advantageous
* Certificate III related to HDD operation or heavy machinery operation are a plus
