About this role
Draglines are a critical part of our mining operations, and we're seeking experienced operators to join our team. As a Dragline Operator with us, you'll be responsible for safely operating these machines to extract coal from the ground.
Your day-to-day tasks will include:
• Safely operating a Marion 8050 Dragline
• Conducting bench prep and bulk push activities using dozers
• Managing cables using a cable tractor and cable truck
• Operating an excavator for dragline and dozer processes
We're looking for candidates with:
• Good attention to detail and the ability to identify hazards in the workplace
• Current Dragline Operating experience with significant open-cut mining experience
• Excellent dozer operating skills for operating around a dragline
• HR licence or site Heavy Rigid authorisation for Cable and Water truck Operations
• Cable tractor skills for High Voltage Cable handling
• Strong communication skills and a track record of achieving results through influence
