Position Summary
On behalf of our client, Global Skilled Employment Services is looking for a skilled Agricultural and Agritech Technician to support the day-to-day operations of our agricultural production and technology systems. This role plays a key part in improving farm efficiency, ensuring optimal livestock/crop performance, and supporting the implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of agritech equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities
Assist with the installation, operation, and maintenance of agricultural and agritech systems, machinery, and equipment.
Monitor crop or livestock conditions and record production data using digital tools and sensors.
Conduct routine testing of soil, water, feed, or environmental conditions to support farm management decisions.
Support the calibration, repair, and testing of farming machinery, irrigation technology, and automated systems.
Assist with farm trials, data collection, and reporting for research or technology implementation projects.
Work with farm managers and external technicians to optimize productivity, biosecurity, and equipment performance.
Ensure all work complies with WHS, animal welfare, and farm biosecurity standards.
