About the role
We are seeking compassionate and experienced Carers to join our beautiful Aegis Anchorage team, providing respectful, person‐centred support to older adults in a warm and welcoming environment. The role involves assisting with daily living activities, personal care, companionship, and promoting independence while always ensuring dignity and comfort.
Qualifications
* Compassionate and patient, with a genuine passion for supporting elderly residents and promoting their dignity and independence.
* Experienced (or willing to learn) in assisting with personal care, mobility support, and daily living activities.
* Strong communicator who can build trusting relationships with residents, families, and the wider healthcare team.
* Reliable, observant, and attentive to changes in residents' health or wellbeing, with a commitment to reporting accurately.
* A team player who thrives in a fast‐paced environment and maintains a positive, respectful attitude at all times.
Responsibilities
* Engaging Residents in daily routines and meaningful activities that enhance wellbeing.
* Supporting and administering medications in accordance with policy and procedures.
* Assisting at mealtimes in line with Aegis' Excellence in Dining strategy to ensure an enjoyable and dignified dining experience.
Requirements
* A certificate III in Aged Care (or higher/equivalent).
* Full Australian working rights and able to pass a national police clearance.
* Flexible availability.
* Preferably someone living in the local area.
* Should have your own car and driving license.
