Job Description
The primary responsibility of this role is to lead the delivery of capital works projects, including water and wastewater infrastructure upgrades, renewals, and new infrastructure.
This involves overseeing project planning, procurement, contractor management, and stakeholder engagement to support operations and strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage end-to-end delivery of capital works projects, ensuring successful project outcomes.
* Lead project teams, contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
* Oversee budget planning, forecasting, and cost control for capital projects, adhering to regulatory requirements.
* Ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards, maintaining a safe working environment.
* Develop and maintain relationships with local councils, government bodies, and community stakeholders, fostering collaboration and cooperation.
Requirements
* A Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
* 5–7 years of experience delivering capital works projects, preferably in the water and sewerage industry.
