About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Speech Pathologist to join our team of mobile clinicians. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with adults and has a passion for providing high-quality speech pathology services.
The ideal candidate will have a professional qualification in Speech Pathology, be an active member of Speech Pathology Australia, and possess excellent communication skills. They will also be required to travel nationally and have a driver's license and reliable transport.
Key Responsibilities
* Assess and diagnose clients' swallowing and communication difficulties
* Provide telehealth-based dysphagia and/or communication assessment and intervention
* Liaise with our national team of Speech Pathologists
* Advocate for support for clients with communication difficulties
* Work closely with organisational staff, support coordinators, and colleagues to ensure optimum care needs are met
