Avant is Australia's leading medical defence organisation, with a proud history of supporting and protecting medical professionals for over 130 years. We are currently seeking a highly organised and proactive Personal Assistant to join our Claims Team on a permanent, part-time basis.
In this role, you will provide essential administrative and coordination support to our Professional Conduct team, helping ensure the smooth and efficient management of claims and member services. Key Responsibilities
* Provide administrative and coordination support to the Professional Conduct team
* Process invoices and corporate credit card statements accurately and efficiently
* Draft correspondence to members with professionalism and attention to detail
* Coordinate meetings, including scheduling, logistics, and documentation
* Assist with general administrative tasks and manage incoming phone enquiries
* Maintain and organise documentation, including medical records and case files
* Support the coordination of travel arrangements and team events/functions
About You
* Demonstrated experience in an administrative role within an insurance or legal environment
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a range of stakeholders
* Fast and accurate typing skills, with excellent attention to detail
* Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
* High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
* Experience preparing and maintaining case files
