About the role
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Caretaker / Cleaner to join our team at Perth Facility Solutions, ideally for an immediate start.
This is a casual position based in Perth WA 6000, with the primary responsibility of maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of a high-rise apartment complex located in East Perth.
Candidates must have their own reliable transport or access to public transport.
This role suits an early starter and offers approximately 30 hours per week (Monday to Friday). You will be supported by our experienced Facility Management team who will assist with all day to day queries and will remain the primary contact dealing with the Strata Manager and Owner's Council.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with cleaning experience who is looking to take the next step into Caretaking / Building Management, with other sites and opportunities available to progress into for the right candidate on a part-time and full-time basis.
What you'll be doing
* Performing a range of general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and dusting
* Ensuring all common areas, restrooms and other designated spaces are kept clean and tidy
* Replenishing consumables such as soap, paper towels and toilet paper
* Reporting any maintenance issues or concerns to the Facility Manager
* Adhering to all health and safety protocols and procedures
* Providing exceptional customer service to clients and visitors
What we're looking for
* Previous experience in a similar caretaker or cleaning role, preferably with exposure to commercial and residential settings including Strata
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently to a high standard
* Reliable, punctual and dedicated to maintaining a clean and presentable environment
* Good communication skills including exceptional written and spoken english and a friendly, customer-focused approach
* Neat and tidy presentation
* Familiarity with the use of general cleaning equipment and products
* Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings and weekends as required
* Australian work rights are required for this position
* A Police Clearance check is preferred for this role
