The Uraidla Hotel is seeking an experienced and dedicated Bar Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations in the Hotel, ensuring exceptional customer service and a positive guest experience. We are offering 30+ hours per week across weekdays and weekends increasing during the summer months.
Responsibilities include monitoring of service standards in food and beverage service, training and supervision of staff as well as ensuring hotel policies and procedures are followed. This position requires sound knowledge and experience across all areas of hotel operations as well as supervisory skills.
What you'll be doing
* Monitoring of service standards in food and beverage service.
* Supervision and training of staff in both food and beverage service.
* Ensure compliance with all liquor licensing obligations.
* Opening and closing the venue in accordance with procedures.
What we're looking for
* Minimum 12 months experience in a similar duty manager or hotel operations role
* Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively train, manage staff and interact with guests
* Knowledge of craft beer and wine is an advantage
* Understanding of hotel operations and licensing requirements
* Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays
* Current RSA and RP
