Electrical Engineer Role
This is a key opportunity to contribute across both the construction and operations phases of a major greenfield project.
We are seeking an experienced electrical engineer to join our team. As part of this role, you will support commissioning and operational readiness for Stage Two of the HPA First Project. Once the plant becomes operational, you will transition into the maintenance engineering team, focused on reliability and performance of critical plant assets.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Ensuring compliance with electrical regulatory standards
* Approving HV switching programs and maintaining electrical registers
* Providing electrical design, project management and cost estimates
* Reviewing vendor manuals and developing maintenance strategies for CMMS integration
* Compiling asset management plans and supporting CMMS build for Stage 2 operations
* Overseeing changes to maintenance strategies and master data, ensuring compliance
* Leading improvements in reliability, maintenance and shutdown processes
* Managing external specialists and ensuring site compliance with standards
Requirements
You must have a degree qualification in Electrical Engineering (essential). We also require at least 5 years' experience in maintenance engineering within complex processing environments such as minerals processing, oil & gas or chemicals manufacturing (8+ years desirable).

* Minimum 5 years' experience in maintenance engineering within complex processing environments (8+ years desirable)
* Experience in HV and LV electrical systems, instrumentation and controls
* Demonstrated experience in greenfield project construction, commissioning and maintenance system setup
* Proven analytical and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams
* Experience in instrumentation and controls systems in complex processing plants
* Good technical engineering skills and understanding with emphasis on pressure systems, rotary kilns/dryers, furnaces, pumps, machine guarding, maintenance cost analysis, and reliability improvement techniques
* Solid understanding of maintenance cost analysis and reliability improvement tools and techniques (EG: FMECA, RCM, etc.)
* Experience with computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS); familiarity with The Asset Guardian (TAG) highly regarded
