PRIMARY OBJECTIVE

Lead and develop the scheduling team to enable consistent, high‑quality service delivery by optimising workforce utilisation through smart
scheduling and ensuring all job readiness activities are complete. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to balance operational demand,
constraints, and strategic priorities across Power and Water.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The “WHAT” to be delivered

Functional
• Manage schedule quality and scheduled utilisation rates
* Manage and monitor workload through effective delegation
* Provide overall direction / coaching to ensure schedulers adhere to the established policies, procedures and works practices
* Balance operational demand, constraints, and strategic priorities
* Manage scheduling constraints to ensure efficient delivery of work
* Build a high performing and collaborative team culture by communicating clear accountabilities and conducting performance reviews
Safety
• Comply with all legislation and codes of practice related to safety and electricity regulation
* Comply with all Power and Water safety policies and procedures
* Take all practicable steps to ensure own safety, the safety of contractors, the public and their property
* Record all non - compliance with safety practices and subsequent corrective actions
* Implement audits, risk assessment and hazard management strategies
* Protect the environment in accordance with corporate standards and operational legislative compliance
Leadership
• Supervise and manage the scheduling team across various locations
* Communicate clear accountabilities and conduct performance reviews
* Identify training requirements and assist the team to improve performance and grow capability within the team
* Seek to build a high performing and supportive team culture
* Collaborate and promote the scheduling team to other business units
* Collaborate across the business to implement continuous improvement initiatives
Customer
* Ensure the scheduling team interacts with customers and the community when relevant to scheduled work, acting in accordance with
Power and Water values and the code of conduct
* Ensure scheduling compliance with customer outage and works notifications
* Respond to customer complaints and issues as required

Qualification and Skills Experience

Essential • An AQF Certificate III in relevant electrical discipline • Demonstrated middle management experience within a
